By compiling a 5-1 record through both halves, Ice Techs (Lyons) has won the inaugural Anthracite Curling Club Winter League championship.
The Winter League consisted of two halves of round-robin play among four competing teams. The winner of each half would meet in the Finals in March.
In the first round of the round robin, Ice Techs swept the competition, winning the Holiday Bowl (Dec. 10, 17, and Jan. 7). The team avoided the need for a championship game by finishing the second half of the season with the best record at 2-1.
The Ice Techs team consisted of Matt Lyons (Skip), Brandon Jackson, Stacey Berkoski, and John Jagozinski.
