2012 GNCC Arena Club Championships
Anthracite Curling Club is among the participants at the 2012 GNCC Arena Club Championships.
This is the third year for this event and the second time it has been hosted by Woodstock Curling Club in Woodstock, Vt. The club is being represented by one team this year: Lyle Kerrick, Monica Lynn, Erica Snarski, and Thom Kivler. Continue reading
Team Kerrick wins 2012 Club Championship
Team Kerrick has won the 2012 Anthracite Curling Club Championship.
It defeated Happy Hour (Perrino), 8-5, in 8 ends on Tuesday night, with Skip Lyle Kerrick drawing against three points to secure the final point with the Hammer in the final end. The third Anthracite Curling Club Championship will be awarded tonight with Happy Hour (Perrino) facing Team Kerrick at 7:30 p.m. on Sheet 2 at The Ice Rink at Coal St. in Wilkes-Barre.
