Anthracite Curling Club will hold its annual meeting on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012. The meeting will be held in the “party” area at Ice Rink at Coal St. at 7:30 p.m.Winter League and non-league curling will follow at 9:45 p.m. until midnight.
Among the items to be discussed at the meeting are the upcoming Club Championship league, 2012 memberships, an Anthracite-hosted bonspiel in late July 2012 and the election of a member to the Board of Directors.
The term of Director Matt Lyons is expiring and an election for a new 3-year term will be held at the Annual Meeting. Two members have been nominated for this post and each has accepted that nomination: Matt Lyons and Lyle Kerrick.
Nominations, according to Club bylaws, may also be made on the floor prior to the election.
