An all-Anthracite Curling team is currently participating in League play at Bucks County Curling Club.
The team consists of Lyle Kerrick (Skip), Erica Snarski, Michael Detweiler and Monica Lynn. They play every Sunday evening at Bucks County Ice Sports Zone in Warminster, Pa. The current league season at Bucks is the largest in the club’s short history.
Erica and Michael have been playing at Bucks County for a few months and previously, other members have either played in league competition or participated in clinics hosted by the club, started by former members of Philadelphia Curling Club.
Bucks County Curling was started in response to a growing interest in curling in the Philadelphia area. Anthracite Curling had the pleasure of playing against a Bucks County team at the 2011 Arena Club Championships.
