Anthracite Curling Club returns to Ice Rink at Coal Street Park with the conclusion of its inaugural Holiday Bowl competition.
Tonight, pride is on the line for the four teams involved. On Sheet 1, Squirrels and Happy Hour will play for second place in the tournament. Next to them on Sheet 2, Cracked Ice will be seeking its first Holiday Bowl win and could spoil a long winning streak of the Bowl champs, Ice Techs.
The combination of Ice Techs’ win over Squirrels last week and Happy Hour defeating Cracked Ice, Ice Techs clinched a spot in the Winter League championship in early March.
Following this week, the Winter League standings reset and a new Round Robin tournament will be started. The winner of the Second Half Round Robin will face Ice Techs for the Winter League championship in March.
The Anthracite Curling Club Championship begins in March when we move to our Tuesday evening time slot.
