Two more teams clinched spots in the playoffs on Tuesday and another clinched a division title while the race for the final playoff spot is still wide open.
Buffalo Bills stormed past Goodies on Tuesday to seal the first playoff berth in the Wilkes Division, moving past Demented Magenta for the lead in that group at the same time.
That’s because Demented Magenta fell to Walrus & Mermaids late in the match. The loss moves the team to 2-3 and a game ahead of Goodies for the final playoff spot in the Spring League.
The win clinches the Barre Division for Walrus & Mermaids, which maintained its unblemished record at 5-0 with the win.
Falcons got its first win on Tuesday night by defeating Happy Hour, 10-5. The win unfortunately could not keep them in the postseason chase in the Barre Division as Happy Hour clinched by virtue of tie-breaker.
The tie-breaker procedure is operating as it did in the Fall and Winter leagues with one exception: the Divisional Record tie-break precedes the Strength of Victory tie-break in order.
