Anthracite2 wasn't just skillful on the ice, they showed off some impressive architetural skills with a 12-pack of Pottsville's finest at the GNCC Arena Club Championships at Triangle Curling Club.
The Second Annual GNCC Championships were held at Triangle Curling Club in Raleigh, N.C. Anthracite Curling Club sent two teams to this bonspiel, the first time two teams represented the club on the road.
While Anthracite 1 (Alison Piatt, Joshua Sophy, Dana Griesback and Kimm Montone) were unable to get a win at the tournament, the Anthracite 2 team (Lyle Kerrick, Erica Snarski, Thom Kivler and Michael Detweiler) was able to find some success, winning two games and reaching the Fourth Event semifinals.
