Ice Techs secured the inaugural Holiday Bowl title with a 6-2 win over Squirrels on Saturday night.
The champs scored in the first five ends, effectively hiding a shot rock behind plenty of cover.
Tricky ice made accessing shot rock difficult all night and Skip Matt Lyons’ charges were able to block their shot in place all night, frustrating the Squirrels shooters.
Ice Techs extended its winning streak to 13 games with the victory, which started the week after losing to Squirrels in the 2011 Club Championship league.
