The final Round Robin draws will take place this Saturday as the Fall League comes near a close.
There are a number of ways the final standings could shake out, thus affecting who plays in which Event Final. The schedule for the upcoming week is:
Sh1: Crackers vs. House Hunters
Sh2: Demented Magenta vs. Ham & Eggers
Sh3: JAAM vs. Machu Picchu
While the First Event Finals are set with House Hunters (4-0) taking on Crackers (3-1) and those two teams providing a preview of that match-up this week as they meet, the Second and Third Event Finals are completely up in the air.
We’ve run the four possibilities of how things could shake down between those two draws and here are the scenarios and what will happen IF:
JAMM and Demented Magenta win
Second Event: Demented Magenta vs. Machu Picchu
Third Event: JAAM vs. Ham & Eggers
JAAM, Demented Magenta, and Machu Picchu finish with identical 2-3 records. JAAM loses the combined head-to-head tie-breaker with Demented Magenta and Machu Picchu with a winless record against them (Tie-Breaker #1).
JAMM and Ham & Eggers win
Second Event: JAAM vs. Machu Picchu
Third Event: Demented Magenta vs. Ham & Eggers
Demented Magenta finishes at 1-4.
JAAM, Ham & Eggers, and Machu Picchu all finish with 2-3 records. Each team has a 1-1 record in the head-to-head-to-head tie-breaker (3 Teams, Tie-Breaker #1). JAAM wins by Strength of Victory (SoV, Tie-Breaker #2) with 5 or 6 points (pending result of House Hunters/Crackers draw) and the other two have just 3 SoV points.
Machu Picchu defeats Ham & Eggers on head-to-head tie-breaker (2 Teams, Tie-Breaker #1).
Machu Picchu and Demented Magenta win
Second Event: Machu Picchu vs. Demented Magenta
Third Event: JAAM vs. Ham & Eggers
Overall Win-Loss record determines Event Final match-ups. Ham & Eggers wins head-to-head tie-breaker over JAAM (2 teams, Tie-Break #1) for 5th Place.
