Tuesday marks the final regular season draw and there is one piece of unfinished business to determine on the ice.
Demented Magenta and Buffalo Bills are locked with identical 3-3 records in the Wilkes Division. Last week, Demented Magenta took the tie-breaker by defeating the Bills and control their destiny this week when they face Falcons on Sheet 3.
Falcons are winners of two straight and head into the final three weeks flying high (A pun avoided all season; had to do it …).
Remember, no matter where you ended in the regular season or how the playoffs pan out, you’ll still have games the next two weeks. Next week, Falcons will face Goodies on Sheet 2. Goodies takes on Happy Hour this week on Sheet 1 as Happy Hour looks to stop a three-game losing streak heading into the Playoffs.
Walrus & Mermaids remain unbeaten and can make it a perfect 7-0 in the regular season with a win over the Bills. The Bills need to win and have Demented Magenta lose to clinch the Wilkes Division. Any other scenario has Demented Magenta winning that division, giving them choice of Hammer in the Playoffs next week.
The winners of next week’s Divisional Playoffs will meet on May 28 in the Spring League Finals.
