Here’s a quick glimpse at the Team USA Men’s Curling team.
This year, the Stars & Stripes will once again be led by Skip John Shuster. Shuster is 31 and from Duluth, Minn. He was skip of Team USA at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. He won a Bronze Medal as Lead for Pete Fenson at the 2006 Torino Olympics.
In domestic competition, Shuster is a four-time national champion and once the runner-up. He started curling in 1997.
On the brooms for Shuster this year are Jeff Isaacson, Jared Zezel, and Landsteiner.
Had our first practice in the #IceCube today. Feels good, curls good, life is good! One more practice session tomorrow then #GameOn!

Isaacson returns with Shuster from the Vancouver Games as Team USA’s Vice. He’s 30 years old. Zezel is 22 and will shoot as Second. This is his first Olympics and he started curling in 2003. Landsteiner is 23 and this is also his first Olympics. He started curling in 2000.
Team Shuster’s biggest test during the Round Robin competition will be against Canada, the favorite for gold. Team USA almost was left out of the Mens’ field this year but qualified in the last possible chance, just a few weeks before the Olympics.
