For ties between two (2) teams
Step 1. Head-to-head result.
For ties between three or more (3+) teams
Step 1. Record amongst tied teams: Head-to-head sweep (Team advances) / Swept head-to-head (Team is eliminated)
Step 2. Strength of victory overall: Lowest is eliminated OR Highest is advanced
Step 3. Draw to button amongst tied teams: Called-Swept-Measured-Removed, Farthest is eliminated OR Nearest is advanced
Repeat process as necessary.
Head-to-head result shall always determine entrants in event finals.
Example 1: Three teams finish tied for first. They have identical 1-1 records vs each other. In this case, the highest-SOV team receives the 1 seed, and the head-to-head result between the other two teams determines which team shall advance to the Championship.
Example 2: Three teams finish tied for second. They have identical 1-1 records vs each other. In this case the lowest-SOV team receives the 4 seed, and the head-to-head result between the other two teams determines which team shall advance to the Championship.
Example 3: Three teams finish tied for third. They have identical 1-1 records vs each other and identical SOVs. A draw to the button amongst the tied teams shall be held. The team with the stone nearest the button receives the 3 seed, and the head-to-head result between the other two teams determines which team shall play in the Second Event Final.
Example 4: Three teams finish tied for fourth. They have identical 1-1 records vs each other and identical SOVs. A draw to the button amongst the tied teams shall be held. The team with the stone farthest from the button receives the 6 seed, and the head-to-head result between the other two teams determines which team shall play in the Second Event Final.
