Here are the just released details on the annual Ft. Wayne (Indiana) Summerspiel. A few of our members have attended this bonspiel in the past and it has proven to be a great time with a full range of curlers there, from the wannabe Olympians to the actual national-level competition:
– August 16 – 18, 2013
– 12 sheets on 3 rinks
– Restaurant and bar overlooking all 12 sheets
– 4 game guarantee
– 3 divisions – 5 & Under, Open, and Cashspiels (men’s and women’s)
– The Cashspiel division will feature all the top women’s contenders to represent Team USA at the 2014 Olympics.
– Professionally prepared ice
– Saturday night steak dinner
– Hotel within walking distance
