Anthracite Curling Club’s defending League champions looks to keep its winning ways going tonight at Summerspiel (6 p.m., Ice Rink at Coal Street).
Stacey feat. The Ice Techs has started the six-week Summerspiel with two wins, including a dramatic last End win on Aug. 2 over Team Piatt, 6-4. The Matt Lyons-Skipped team won six games in a row at the end of the League season during the Spring to claim the Club championship and has added to that total with a pair of wins out of the gate in Summerspiel.
Tonight Stacey feat. The Ice Techs (2-0) will take on Cracked Ice (0-1) on Sheet 2. In other action, the Squirrels (1-0) will take on the Platoon (0-2) team on Sheet 1. And on Sheet 3, Happy Hour (1-1) will face Bitter End (0-1).
