Here are the individual draw reports from Tuesday night’s second round of the 2012 Anthracite Curling Club Championship.
Happy Hour (Perrino) was able to put together a four-point end in the 5th and pulled away late to defeat Cracked Ice (Karampilas). After jumping to a 3-0 lead, Cracked Ice was able to erase the deficit with a three-point 3rd end.

Team Cawley accomplished two misions in a single draw. With all but the Skip sharing a combined two games’ experience, Cawley’s side was able to score its first point after getting shutout last week and then put together a four-point 7th end to snatch victory away from Goodies (Baessler).
Cawley scored in the final four ends after Goodies scored five in the 3rd end to take a seemingly commanding 6-1 lead.

Team Keeler was able to put together a second four-point end in the decisive 8th to win the battle of unbeaten teams in Week 2. After scoring four in the 2nd and stealing two points in the 3rd and 4th, building a 6-2 lead, substitute Skip Monica Lynn led Team Kerrick on a comeback rally, finally tying the score with a point in the 7th, setting up a winner-take-all 8th end.
