ACC College Night, new club featured on Misericordia broadcast

Anthracite Curling Club is featured on the most recent edition of Cougar Cast, a student TV production at Misericordia University.

The crew’s visit coincided with the formation of that school’s Curling Club, and four students who recently joined as members. Have a look below (we’re exactly 7 minutes into the broadcast):

More Ice Time: Open House scheduled for March 19

Anthracite Curling Club announces that it will hold a public Open House event at The Ice Rink at Coal St. Park in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., on March 19 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Open House provides the perfect opportunity to come meet the great people around the sport of curling and to try it for yourself. Be prepared to get hooked!

Wear warm, comfortable clothing and sneakers with a decent tread on the soles. We provide the rest. Cost is $15.

Saturday Night Curling is scheduled for later that night, from 10 p.m. until Midnight.

Club requirement: Proper flair must be displayed at ALL times (w/ YOUR photos)

OK, so we may not have the same rules as Chotchkie’s restaurant, but Anthracite Curling Club members have been proudly sporting our first piece of official “flair,” our club pin.
