Thinking Playoffs? Only 4 more Regular Season dates remaining

Just about every single team in the Summer League alive for a postseason berth. There are just three weeks of draws remaining in the regular season after tonight.

Six draws start at 6 p.m. at The Ice Rink at Coal Street Park.

MLC vs. C&Ds | Sheet 1, 6 p.m.

MLC needs a win to stay in the thick of the Buckwheat Division race while C&Ds got back on-track last week with a convincing victory. It needs to stay hot this week as it has two teams chasing in the Chestnut Division race.

Lyons vs. Whippersnappers | Sheet 2, 6 p.m.

Lyons needs a win to stay in first place of the Stove Division. Meanwhile, Whippersnappers has lost two straight and faces a tough draw. Each team figures to be in the thick of any postseason race.

Boss Hog-Line vs. Goody’s | Sheet 3, 6 p.m.

This matchup features two teams riding winning streaks, and each climbing to the top of their divisions. Boss Hog-Line has little time for rest through the end of the season. It has four games remaining and has been climbing the Chestnut Division table with two straight wins. Goody’s has won three-straight, and has put the pressure on Stove Division leaders Lyons.

Stone Cold vs. Work Study | Sheet 1, 8 p.m.

Stone Cold had last week off, but thanks to others’ losses found itself in first in the Buckwheat Division. It will need a win to stay there this week. Work Study has been as erratic as just about every team this season, yet remains in the thick of the Steamboat Division race. A win tonight puts the team in the postseason hunt.

JEMM vs. Fifteen | Sheet 2, 8 p.m.

JEMM was able to even its record last week with a convincing win, and this week can put itself into the postseason jockeying with a tough intra-conference battle. Fifteen has the lead in the Steamboat Division, but has little room for error with two teams vying for the same spot.

Team RAMROD vs. Cracked Ice | Sheet 3, 8 p.m.

RAMROD can keep its postseason and division title hopes alive with a win. The team is a full win behind a crowded Buckwheat Division. Cracked Ice is looking to turn the tide on a recent string of bad luck and keep a slim Playoffs dream reality.
