Here are the results from Week 4 of the 2011 Spring/Summer league at Anthracite Curling Club:
Squirrels 7, Team Lyons 3
The Squirrels scored four points in the 4th end to take control of a close draw on Sheet 1. The win keeps the Squirrels unblemished record intact.
Piatt 7, Goody’s 3
Team Piatt also kept its unbeaten streak alive with a win over Goody’s on Sheet 2.
Despite the fourth loss in four tries for Goody’s confidence is being gained with each shot.
Cracked Ice 7, Team Maas 3
Cracked Ice finally cracked the win column with another last-end decision. Ted Karampilas’ side scored five in the final end to ruin the day for Team Maas.
All but one Cracked Ice game has been decided in the final end.
Bitter End 6, LLUA 3
Bitter End rebounded from a loss the previous week with a solid victory over the visiting curlers from Binghamton.
The Little Lebowskis have lost three straight since winning the season-opener.
MLC 9, Happy Hour 6
MLC remained one of the club’s hottest teams with its third-straight win Tuesday night.
Cawley 11, Grassi 3
Dave Cawley secured his team’s first win of the season in solid fashion and sent Team Grassi to its second-straight defeat after a 2-0 start.
