LLUA 8, Lyons 6
LLUA broke a three-game losing streak by handing Lyons its third-straight loss in a draw on Sheet 1.
This match was decided in a decisive extra end, with the visitors from Binghamton scoring two for the win.
Squirrels 9, Grassi 2
Both teams were short-handed due to absences in the rosters but the Squirrels made enough shots to extend their winning streak to five games.
Grassi was again Skipped by club newcomer Alyssa Leonard.
Bitter End 7, Cracked Ice 2
Bitter End has won two straight games and is alone in second place of the Smith Conference near the half-way point of the season after blunting Cracked Ice’s momentum built from last week’s win.
Cawley 10, Goody’s 2
Team Cawley won its second consecutive draw, defeating winless Goody’s on Sheet 1.
The good news? Brad and Sandy Smith, newcomers to the team and club, are Flyers fans and they won that night.
Happy Hour 4, Piatt 2
Team Piatt’s undefeated run to start the season came to end following a tight draw on Sheet 2.
Happy Hour was able to find its winning ways again after having a small winning streak stopped last week.
Maas 8, MLC 6
Team Maas edged MLC and stopped the team’s three-game winning streak by doing so. Also, the win draws the two teams tied in the Fell Conference standings, just one game out of first.
