Do you recognize that voice doing the play-by-play for curling action during the Sochi Winter Olympics?
He’s Jason Knapp, a former sports broadcaster at WBRE-TV in Wilkes-Barre. Lucky guy … he gets to talk curling with American hero and 2006 Bronze medal Skip Pete Fenson.
We certainly won’t put any pressure on him to name-drop Anthracite Curling during his umpteen broadcasts from Sochi (ahem!), but we hope to see him out on the ice when he gets back.
