WOODSTOCK, Vt. –Schoolhouse Rocks! awaits a 3 p.m. draw and a chance to stay alive in the GNCC Arena Club Championship Bonspiel.
The team representing Anthracite Curling Club lost its second draw last night to Ocean State CC #1, 13-3, but remains hopeful of securing a win this afternoon in an elimination draw.
Despite the setbacks, Schoolhouse Rocks! appears to absorbing the healthy competition and has managed to win a few ends through two draws.
“We are determined to take one today,” Jen Fry posted to her Facebook profile Saturday morning.

Schoolhouse Rocks! started its foray at the GNCC Arena Club Championship Bonspiel with a scoring end, but was unable to score much after that, losing its opening draw, 13-2.
The team representing Anthracite Curling Club of Alison Piatt, Jen Fry, Barb Parzych and Thom Kivler next play tonight at 6 p.m., against Ocean State CC #1.
According to their assorted social media posts, morale was high despite the loss.
